MBTA Handheld Schedule Planner – FAQ (Palm OS®)
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about the new software...  Click here to return to the main page.
Question If I want to be notified when updates are available, do I need to register my e-mail address here at your Web site AND from within the software?
Answer No – both registration methods are the same.  To receive updates whenever the software or data files change, simply register your e-mail address using either method.
Question I've installed several different data files, but I can only access one of them...
Answer You need to use the "Change Route" option in the "MBTA" menu; check out the tour for more information.  (Remember, to access the menu on any Palm OS application, tap the menu icon to the bottom-left of the graffiti area on your handheld device.)  If you don't see any data files in the "Data" list, try downloading and installing the latest version of the software (MBTA.prc) – it will overwrite your existing version and should solve any problems.
Question The software only supports "Palm OS® 3.1 or higher" – what's the deal?
Answer The vast majority of devices (i.e., those designed in the last 5 years) have Palm OS 3.1 or higher and are supported by this software.  To determine which version of the OS your device has, select "Info" from the "App" menu and then click on "Version".  Users with older devices should be able to upgrade their OS by visiting the PalmSource web site – however, memory limitations may prevent the software from functioning completely (e.g., maps may not display properly).
