Select the desired departure time (Date and Time).  Choose to search for the Next 3 direct trains, All today's direct trains, or the Best route (if you expect to transfer between trains).

You can always reset the departure time to its default (the current date and time) by tapping Now.

This software handles all holidays, weekends, and other special schedules automatically.

If you're looking for direct trains, they will appear in a list organized by departure time from the originating station.

In the example above, the next direct train from Porter Square to Waltham is at 12:10 pm.  We happened to search on a Sunday, so there won't be another train until 3:10 pm, followed by one at 5:40 pm.

If you're looking for the Best route, you'll see your travel itinerary (train departure times and locations).  Your estimated arrival time will also be displayed.

In the example above, you need to catch the Porter Square train at 11:42 am to North Station, then the North Station train to Rockport at 12:15 pm.  You'll arrive in Rockport around 1:22 pm.
